Background information
The Honduran Foundation of Corporate Social Responsibility (FUNDAHRSE) is a non-profit private organization created in 2004 whose main objectives are the promotion, dissemination, training, research, and support of CSR practices. Since its creation, in addition to its member companies, it also provides services to other sectors such as NGOs, academic institutions, business associations and SMEs.

FUNDAHRSE is a member of the following organizations:

  • Global Network – World Business Council for Sustainable Development
  • INTEGRARSE (Central American Integration Network for Corporate Socially Responsibility)
  • United Nations Global Compact
  • ARISE-UNDRR – The Private Sector Alliance for Disaster Resilient Societies led by the UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction.
  • The Global Reporting Initiative


  • Currently offers over 20 different services including courses, seminars, conferences, and workshops.
  • Holds two major annual events: Corporate Social Responsibility Week and the Socially Responsible Company Recognition Gala (Sello FUNDAHRSE de Empresa Socialmente Responsable)
  • Provides consulting services in the following areas: sustainability reports, stakeholders mapping, strategic management, external audits, and social dialogue.
