UPS Talanoa Blog: Leading the Charge - The Future of Fleet Electrification

Geneva, 13 November: Bestmile, the leading mobility services platform used to plan, manage and optimize autonomous and human-driven vehicle fleets, has today joined nearly 200 forward-thinking companies as the newest member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD).

Bestmile’s Mobility Services Platform is used by Public Transit Operators, taxi companies, Transportation Network Companies and vehicle manufacturer/service providers to deliver ridehailing, robotaxi, micro-transit and autonomous shuttle services. Founded in 2014, Bestmile is active on three continents. By connecting with WBCSD’s network of forward-thinking businesses, across a variety of sectors, Bestmile can increase its impact in global sustainability.

“Bestmile’s mission is to enable safe, efficient, sustainable mobility for all, by allowing mobility service providers to move more people with fewer vehicles” said Bestmile CEO Raphael Gindrat.  “Working collaboratively with WBCSD and its members, we are confident that we can create a more sustainable future.”

WBCSD President and CEO Peter Bakker said “WBCSD is dedicated to working towards a transformation in sustainable systems. This will only be achieved in collaboration with global industry leaders such as Bestmile. As one of leading innovators in sustainable mobility, we are particularly excited to work with Bestmile.”
