Corporate Reporting Metrics for Healthy and Sustainable Diets
Mapping the landscape and identifying gaps
Published: February 9, 2026
Agrifood businesses are increasingly facing spiraling supply chain volatility, rising input costs, and increasing scrutiny from investors, regulators and consumers. Shifting food systems to deliver healthy and sustainable diets is a critical lever in addressing these challenges. It is also fundamental to their efforts to contribute to global climate, nature, equity, and food and nutrition security goals.
Consistent, clear and credible information to measure corporate performance and accountability is essential for this transition. Such information enables companies to:
- Better identify risks and opportunities;
- Collaborate more effectively with key stakeholders on shared goals;
- Change internal and external decision-making on capital allocations.
The corporate reporting expectations of civil society organizations and regulators are evolving. This white paper provides a comprehensive review of the healthy and sustainable diet reporting landscape and highlights a clear opportunity for convergence.
