We are now pleased to announce that SFC has developed the Global Logistics Emission Council (GLEC) Framework as the first universal way of calculating logistics emissions. This builds well on WBCSD leadership in Reporting Matters work and the GHG Protocol and will be a valuable tool to our members and the broader business community.

The GLEC Framework combines existing methodologies such as SmartWayClean Cargo Working Groupand EN16258. It was developed in partnership with leading multinationals, industry initiatives, associations, and experts involved in freight movement, and achieved the 'Built on GHG Protocol' mark.

The Launch of the GLEC Framework for Logistics Emissions Methodologies will be held on 23 June in Washington, DC, please do not hesitate to registerand attend.
