CPAS is the missing link between the financial system and business transformation on climate change for which data innovation and technology, policy and education are key enablers.

Despite the urgent need to act on climate change, nature, circularity and inequality, the misalignment with financial markets means that businesses are not adequately incentivized to deliver transformative solutions.  

Addressing this systemic misalignment is one of WBCSD’s key transformation priorities. WBCSD advocated for a systems transformation in both the real and financial economy – that goes beyond just compliance – to implement solutions and drive accountability for performance. ​
