The Global Agribusiness Alliance (GAA) is an international, CEO-led, private sector platform of supply-side companies, committed to harnessing their collective strengths to tackle shared environmental, social and sustainability challenges.
Under its water stewardship workstream, GAA coordinated an Action Learning Project with the Alliance for Water Stewardship Asia-Pacific Indonesia and GAA member company Halcyon Agri Corporation's subsidiary, HeveaConnect. The project focused on a specific rubber processing site in Jambi, Indonesia and a higher-level survey of 18 factories across Indonesia. It was driven by HeveaConnect’s water stewardship ambitions as a digital marketplace for sustainably-processed natural rubber.
A key outcome of this project is to provide insights into the process and outputs of water stewardship trajectories in the agribusiness context. This webinar aims to share these insights and takeaways from the water stewardship work in Jambi, Indonesia and offer the agribusiness community with a framework for informed decision-making on good water stewardship using the AWS Standard.
