How do I get started?
To make the most of the Nature Action Portal, follow the steps below. Begin by exploring your sector’s key dependencies and impacts (Step 1), then plan the actions you wish to drive in your operations or supply chain (Step 2). The Portal will then recommend tailored nature-related metrics to help you track and report progress (Step 3).

The Portal includes only existing metrics from key voluntary and regulatory frameworks, some of which apply to all sectors, while some are sector specific. To ensure alignment with the existing nature-related disclosure landscape, no new metrics were developed by WBCSD for the Portal. Two frameworks developed by the WBCSD have also been included in the analysis when relevant: the Global Circularity Protocol and the Regenerative Agriculture Metrics.
