Climate Catalyst Program

Why this program

Achieving the scale and speed of climate action required to meet global goals demands clear strategies and coordinated, cross-functional collaboration at a senior level. Peer learning across businesses can further boost, enrich, and inspire efforts.

The Climate Catalyst Program, a joint initiative by WBCSD and BCG, addresses this need by accelerating ambitious climate action among WBCSD members.

The program fosters cross-functional collaboration within member companies and among peers to redefine action plans, build corporate buy-in, and develop impactful solutions.

Breaking Down Silos to Climate Progress

Through in-person workshops, the Climate Catalyst Program provides a valuable platform for members to connect with their own cross-functional peers, as well as counterparts from other companies, facilitating knowledge-sharing, and collective problem-solving. Targeted industry-specific coordination further enhances solutions for certain sectors.

Workshop topics are influenced by participant demand and current industry trends. They can include topics such as: integrating climate with financials; climate risk; supply chain decarbonization; climate-based value creation etc.

Participants will be able to create or improve their concrete climate Action Plans.

Insights from these sessions are distilled into actionable guidance and added regularly, which you can find below.
