Anna is a Director for Climate Transparency and co-leads the climate work at WBCSD, with a focus on data, transparency and accountability. Having joined in late 2020, Anna built up the Partnership for Carbon Transparency (PACT), bringing together stakeholders from across the public and private sectors to enable more targeted decarbonization action and drive accountability.
Prior to this, Anna co-created the Seaweed for Europe coalition at SYSTEMIQ, seeking to transform the European industry and to unlock the environmental benefits of this hidden ocean champion. She also spent several years at McKinsey & Company, advising on a range of sustainability topics, as well as at various law firms in the UK and Germany, practicing as an intellectual property lawyer.
A graduate from the University of Cambridge (MA in History / Management Studies) and from Humboldt University Berlin (MA in German Law), Anna is a dual-qualified lawyer.
She also is a One Young World Ambassador and was selected as one of 50 leaders under 40 who are contributing to the acceleration of the environmental and social transition in France by Le Point / Cercle de Giverny in 2022. Anna further sits on the Steering Committee of the European Union Covenant of Companies for Climate and Energy.
In her spare time, Anna is an avid (vegan) foodie, loves to travel and explore nature. She equally enjoys cultural activities, in particular the opera, and cannot live without her weekly dose of Pilates. Having grown up between Berlin and London, Anna is now based in Paris and is fluent in English, German and French.
