The WBCSD Leadership Program helps member companies identify leaders for the future who understand sustainability challenges and recognize opportunities to guide strategic decision-making.

The Leadership Program is based on interactive workshops, involvement in the work of WBCSD and the management of individual and group projects.  Participants are invited to contribute on a part time basis, with 25 days spread over nine months, clustered around three face-to-face Modules, held in different locations. This year's focus is on "integrating strategic sustainability into business decision making".

Following Module 1 at Yale University in March,  Module 2 took place in Berlin, Germany. During the week, the participants shared their learnings and recommendation on their individual projects around decision making. The group visited member companies (Deloitte’s Greenhouse, Coca-Cola factory ) and undertook leadership activities. They also met with sustainability and business experts to discuss this year's topic and we heard from entrepreneurs, lawyers, academic from ESMT University and finance professionals different perspectives on the challenges and opportunities for companies.

The participants started to work on five group projects around decision-making which will be presented at the WBCSD Council Meeting in Mexico City this October.
