Marvin Henry

Marvin is a Director in the Climate Action team. He leads WBCSD’s work on avoided emissions and works on climate accounting, digital, and innovation topics. Marvin spent the majority of his previous career working for strategy consultancy McKinsey & Co. in the German and Dutch offices. Right before joining WBCSD, Marvin built up a London-based fintech & circular economy start-up as part of the founding team.

Marvin holds a PhD in Geosciences from Utrecht University in the Netherlands. His research focuses on innovation, innovation systems and bottom-up dynamics in the circular economy. He sits on the advisory/scientific boards in an EU Horizon project and the European Green Digital Coalition. Marvin supports Ashoka as a pro-bono advisor and is a mentor for German-based initiative Deutschlandstiftung Integration.
