Collaborate across sectors to standardize methodologies, mobilize financial resources, and create actionable use cases that drive decarbonization and maximize ROI.

Implementation

  • Contribute to the development and expansion of the WBCSD Use Case Repository.
  • Engage with peers on how to leverage AE in internal decision-making.
  • Together with Pathways, develop sector-specific application Guidance.

Methodology & Standards

  • Enhance the leading cross-sectoral framework in avoided emissions accounting to increase robustness, usability, and adoption.
  • Contribute to the formalization and standardization of intervention-based GHG accounting on sectoral-, entity-, and solution-levels.

Finance & Policy

  • Engage with finance-sector and policy actors to co-develop strategies, methodologies, and instruments that mobilize resources towards and incentivize low-carbon solutions.
  • Create use cases at the intersection of business and finance that test and demonstrate ROI, data requirements, accountability, methodology guardrails and other relevant parameters.
