Building on the momentum of WBCSD’s inaugural Annual Meeting, WBCSD will play an active role at London Climate Action Week (LCAW), London, 22–24 June. We have designed a program that highlights solutions and evidence from leading businesses around the world, like the Business Breakthrough Barometer (BBB), to show where implementation is progressing, where challenges remain, and what will accelerate decarbonization, competitiveness and resilience faster.
We will focus on what unlocks real‑economy progress for business – the execution of high-impact business solutions that drive competitiveness whilst strengthening resilience and long-term value creation, centered on:
- Policy, to collectively drive the enabling conditions that reduce uncertainty, support preparedness and accelerate delivery
- Finance, as a critical enabler in driving competitiveness, investability and market transformation at scale
- Physical risk, resilience and transition planning, as climate impacts translate into costs and balance‑sheet exposure
- Electrification, as the fastest route to energy security with access to affordable and reliable energy.
- Agriculture and food security, where volatility and supply disruption are now material business risks
LCAW, joins Climate Week NYC and COP 31, as critical moments to sustain momentum and ensure that business‑led delivery remains central to progress.
