Introduction
The Preparer Forum for Sustainability Disclosure (PFSD) is one of WBCSD’s four member services, convening member companies on an online platform to engage on the evolving reporting landscape and accelerating the global adoption of sustainability disclosure standards.
Context for the PFSD
Globally, we are in an unprecedented period of change from voluntary to mandatory sustainability reporting that will imminently affect thousands of companies worldwide. Many companies already have some form of corporate sustainability reporting, but preparing to meet these new requirements will challenge even the most advanced companies.
WBCSD’s PFSD is addressing the need for impactful guidance and constructive engagement with a beyond compliance approach on performance and impact.

The PFSD Senior Advisory Board
The Senior Advisory Board (SAB) convenes standard setters, knowledge partners and other expert organizations in the reporting ecosystem. The role of the SAB is to provide input and feedback into the strategic development and activities of the PFSD given their expertise, and guide how the PFSD can serve the need of preparers in the context of the dynamic reporting landscape.
