This summary report on financing mechanisms for Sustainable Mobility Project 2.0 (SMP2.0) is designed to complement the SMP2.0 Solutions Toolbox by providing thought leadership on financing mechanisms that cities may leverage to implement their sustainable mobility plans. The report summarizes potential financing mechanisms that may be implemented to fund city-driven solutions and provides valuable information, such as the key characteristics of mechanisms, the general eligibility requirements of mechanisms, and the level of complexity to implement. This report also provides several summary case studies as well as detailed case studies.
