Sustainability for the senses: Givaudan joins WBCSD

Today, Givaudan joins 200 forward-thinking companies as the newest member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD). The Swiss company holds approximately 25% of the global market share in the flavors and fragrances industry. Givaudan is deeply committed to sustainability as evidenced in its responsible sourcing, innovation, and business strategies.

Geneva, 18 January 2017:  Givaudan’s CEO, Gilles Andrier said, “Givaudan is proud to join WBCSD, a key global platform whose sustainability objectives are closely aligned with our 2020 strategy of ‘responsible growth, shared success.’ By working together with our customers and partners, I believe we can make a valuable contribution to accelerate the transition to a sustainable world.”

Givaudan has 94 locations worldwide,  5 production sites, over 9,500 employees and holds approximately 25% of market share in the flavors and fragrances industry.
