The Government of India is in the early stages of shaping the policy and regulatory framework for energy storage in the country. This brief collates inputs from businesses on ways to strengthen the framework and policy measures.
Developed in collaboration with India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA), the brief presents the collective policy and regulatory recommendations from over 25 companies on priority action areas for the central government to accelerate energy storage deployment.
