This report describes business actions implemented by ITC in India to achieve sustainability goals in their paper and paperboard manufacturing operations. It outlines key learnings that can support decision-making in other companies, especially in emerging markets.

Using elements of WBCSD’s integrated energy strategy, the company is reducing emissions, improving waste and water management and creating social value in its manufacturing operations. Apart from helping the company reach climate, nature and social targets, the report shows that sustainable business operations also bring commercial benefits.
