JXTG Holdings joins WBCSD

JXTG Holdings has today joined over 200 forward-thinking companies as the newest member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD).

Geneva, 3 October 2019: JXTG Holdings is the holding company for the JXTG Group, which provides energy, resources and materials that move the world forward. There are three subsidiaries in the group: JXTG Nippon Oil & Energy, JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration and JX Nippon Mining & Metals.

Through these subsidiaries, the group explores, produces, refines and distributes petroleum and petrochemical products, as well as non-ferrous metal resources and products. 

Headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, JXTG Holdings has a presence in over 40 countries around the world and employs more than 40,000 people globally.

Connecting with WBCSD’s network of forward-thinking businesses will enable JXTG Holdings to continue to develop and implement its sustainability ambitions in collaboration with like-minded partners.
