More than 120,000 beneficiaries in the 10th Week of Solidarity Action and Corporate Volunteering, organized by Forética

Madrid, 22 December 2020.- Forética has led for the tenth consecutive year the Week of Solidarity Action and Corporate Volunteering, Give & Gain, which has established itself as the reference initiative in the field of corporate volunteering and employee solidarity action, with more of 227,200 direct beneficiaries throughout its ten editions.

From 10 to 20 December, Give & Gain has brought together 134 corporate volunteering and solidarity action activities, in which 9,484 employees from 55 companies have participated and 97 entities have collaborated, benefiting 120,292 people. The initiative has had the institutional support of the Presidency of the Government, through the High Commissioner for the Fight against Child Poverty, and the support of Atresmedia, MSD and the Association of Volunteers of “la Caixa”.

Give & Gain 2020 has focused its efforts on promoting solidarity action and corporate volunteering initiatives developed by companies and entities with the aim of alleviating the negative effects that the crisis caused by COVID-19 is having among the most vulnerable groups. In its ten editions in Spain, more than 23,400 volunteers from 525 companies with 697 organizations have participated in Give & Gain, in activities that have benefited more than 227,200 people.

“For another year, and especially in the current health and socioeconomic crisis, we have verified through Give & Gain the great value of solidarity action and corporate volunteering to mobilize companies and the people who work in them in order to improve the environment in which they operate, assuming a leading role of transforming leadership and agent of social change. This Forética initiative celebrates a decade of stories of effort and commitment, of values ​​and experiences of high positive impact for volunteers and beneficiaries”, highlights Germán Granda, General Director of Forética.
