Diane Buzea

Diane Buzea is Manager, Climate Action at WBCSD, having joined in 2021. She co-leads the Accelerating Decarbonization track within WBCSD Climate, working with companies to advance science-based climate action across value chains. Diane oversees open initiatives such as The Climate Drive, Supplier webinars & awards and the Business Action Bank, and convenes multiple working groups and masterclasses to build capabilities and scale credible decarbonization solutions. She is also a member of the GHG Protocol Technical Working Group and was a co-author of the first edition of the Guidance on Avoided Emissions.

Prior to WBCSD, Diane worked at McKinsey & Company in the Sustainability & Strategy Practice and within the Global Environment Team, supporting companies and public sector organizations on various strategic topics, including decarbonization scenarios and roadmaps.

A French national, Diane holds an MSc in Management from emlyon business school and is an alumna of the 2025 WBCSD Leadership Program, delivered in partnership with Yale, IMD, and Sunway University
