WBCSD Carbon Removal and Carbon Market working group has been exploring the business case for engagement in CDR today. This includes the ‘why’, and ‘what’ coupled with ‘how’ it is done in practice within multinational organizations. This session brings together these insights into a collaborative workshop where participants will engage in two hands-on problems. Firstly, participants will answer their CEO’s question “what is our strategy on carbon dioxide removals for the next 18 months?” This is followed by an exercise allocating budget to deliver the proposed strategy for their CEO.
