The webinar was organized by CDP, which runs a global disclosure system to measure and manage environmental impact of businesses and cities. The CDP Global Water Report 2017 showed that only 7% of the reporting companies make commitments to improving access to WASH, which is a basic human right and can play a major role in contributing towards SDG 6 on Clean Water and Sanitation.

In the webinar, explore how WBCSD WASH at the Workplace Pledge is being used by companies to ensure safe access to WASH inside the fence, raise standards, improve employee productivity and retention. The Pledge provides clear business contribution to achieve more inclusive and sustainable societies as well as aids investors in identifying projects with a positive ESG impact.

Tony Henshaw, Chief Sustainability Officer, Aditya Birla Group speaks about their journey of implementing WASH at the Workplace Pledge (covering 106,539 employees in 243 locations), what the business benefits have been, and how they plan to extend it to their supply chain.
