Making stakeholder capitalism actionable

This project aims to make stakeholder capitalism a reality. We work to provide “how to” business actions for transitioning from shareholder to stakeholder capitalism by helping companies implement key processes and actions across strategic decision-making and day-to-day operations to make stakeholder capitalism real and rewarding.

    The challenge

Stakeholder capitalism can help companies ensure long-term value creation but challenges remain in meaningfully incorporating stakeholder management in current mainstream business processes including governance, performance and risk management and others.

    The business case

The purpose of business is to create value for all stakeholders: employees, customers, suppliers, communities, the natural environment and shareholders. These multiple obligations can, and should, be harmonized and incorporated into corporate decision-making, governance models and management systems.

    The solution

This work structures, shapes and implements the practical processes and decisions needed to make stakeholder capitalism a reality. We work to provide “how to” business actions for transitioning from shareholder to stakeholder capitalism. These actions will include applied solutions covering governance, investment, valuation, risk and performance management.
