Geneva, 17 May: GreenBiz just announced its third annual cohort of GreenBiz 30 Under 30, an inspirational group of 30 young professionals honored for their role as emerging leaders in the field of business and sustainability.

These promising young professionals from different fields, sectors, geographies, businesses, and organizations have bright dreams: Walkable, equitable cities. Clean energy for Native American communities. Planet-healing fast food. Circular outdoor gear. Decarbonized buildings. Electrified mobility. All combined, this year’s cohort reports to offices in 12 nations across six continents, including Brazil, Canada, China, India, Lithuania, New Zealand and Rwanda. In the United States, they hail from 15 cities, from Albuquerque, New Mexico to New York City — and several emigrated to the U.S. in childhood. That’s only a sampling of the ambitions of the sixth class of the GreenBiz 30 Under 30 (in media, academia, and the nonprofit sector) who have been recognized for their commitment accelerating the transition to a sustainable world by helping companies create value while tackling some of the toughest economic, social and environmental challenges.

They are part of a unique group of professionals working to move traditional market-driven companies towards sustainability or leveraging their passion, creativity and initiative in making already sustainable-committed businesses more sustainable and successful.

WBCSD is proud to partner with GreenBiz in helping highlighting these young professionals whose skills, curiosity and enthusiasm are critical for businesses in their effort to creating value and achieving long-term sustainability.  We congratulate all the honorees and celebrate having nominees represent our members Aptar, Deloitte, ERM, Google, and UPS.
