During New York Climate Week 2023, WBCSD hosted “Net-Zero for Banks in the Agriculture Sector: Unpacking complexity”.
We are grateful to the speakers who joined us from WBCSD, the U.S. Department of State, Climate Advisers, and signatory financial institutions of the Finance Sector Deforestation Action initiative.
During the session, they provided an overview of the changing regulatory landscape, highlighted examples of leadership on no-deforestation by companies and investors, and shared the findings of a recent assessment of existing tools and frameworks to access data, perform analysis and implement actions towards zero-deforestation investment and lending portfolios.
