During New York Climate Week 2023, WBCSD hosted “Net-Zero for Banks in the Agriculture Sector: Unpacking complexity”.
We are grateful to the panelists who joined us from WBCSD, UNEP FI, Barclays, Environmental Defense Fund and McKinsey. During the session, they shared about the importance of banks understanding and setting targets for their ag and food portfolios and provided a preview of guidance being developed by Banking for Impact on Climate in Agriculture (B4ICA), which is led by WBCSD, to help banks set ambitious, achievable net zero targets.
