Taipei, 22 June 2017: BCSD Taiwan, part of WBCSD’s Global Network of partner organizations, celebrated its 20th anniversary at the Annual General Meeting chaired by John C. T. Huang, the Chairman of the Importers and Exporters Association of Taipei.
In its two decades of activities, BCSD Taiwan has worked with businesses across more than ten sectors to develop and implement sustainability strategies.
Recently, it has put a national focus on Redefining Value, which has included translating the IR Framework and GRI Standards into traditional Chinese.
BCSD Taiwan has also joined the Reporting Exchange program, and has prioritized the improvement of non-financial reporting among its member companies. It plans to implement an analysis of CSR and Sustainability Reports published by its member companies based on the Reporting Matters methodology.
During the AGM, BCSD Taiwan also launched the traditional Chinese version of WBCSD’s CEO Guide to the Sustainable Development Goals.
