Silvia Bulla elected as the new President of BCSD Argentina (CEADS)

Buenos Aires, 23 August 2021 - Silvia Bulla has been appointed as the new President of BCSD Argentina (CEADS) for 2021-2023, a time during which the business organization will celebrate its 30th anniversary. Bulla, President of Danisco Argentina, a company of the IFF group and Director of Human Resources for the group in Latin America, succeeds Arturo Acevedo, President of Acindar. 

"I am grateful for the commitment of those who accompanied me in this period of work at CEADS and I invite them to renew their commitment and keep pushing for incorporating sustainability into the business agenda of our country," said Arturo Acevedo during CEADS’ annual general meeting held last week. 

For her part, Silvia Bulla said: “I am very grateful and honored by this appointment. CEADS, as well as the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), have done a proactive and commendable work in bringing sustainability into the business agenda as a critical factor for humanity, and transcendental for development”.

Bulla will become the first woman to hold the presidency of CEADS and in this regard, she mentioned: "We are very happy that these appointments consolidate the path traveled by CEADS and its member companies towards a more diverse and inclusive society.”

Silvia Bulla has a degree in Statistics from the National University of Rosario, a Master's degree in Business Administration and an Ontological Coach certification (International Coaching Foundation). She was President of DuPont Argentina for three years and worked in this company for 30 years, also focusing on Operations and Quality during her time with DuPont.
