The EEB Lab, 12 -13 May 2015: In Amsterdam brought together business leaders from the building value chain, investors and policy makers to accelerate energy efficiency investments. The Lab focused on scaling up the deployment of renovation projects for large scale residential, school as well as public and private office buildings and areas. It helped identify the key challenges, define opportunities and, most importantly, unlock financially viable energy efficiency investments in the building sector.

Moderated by Mark Beumer (Het Groene Brein), the closing plenary included the speakers Peter Bakker (President & CEO, WBCSD); Ton Büchner (CEO, AkzoNobel); Jeroen Zuidgeest (Architect, MVRDV); Mark Frequin (Director-General for Housing and Building, Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations); Marga Hoek (Director, De Groene Zaak), Birgit Dulski (Senior Researcher Sustainable Building,Nyenrode University), Anne-Marie Rakhorst (Founder, Search, SGS) and Sabine Denis (Director, Business & Society Belgium); Pieter Verley (Communication manager, AG Real Estate COPiD); Coen van Oostrom (Founder & CEO, OVG Real Estate); Marc Calon (Chairman, Aedes).
