The Sustainability Consortium (TSC) – TSC brings its expertise in category life-cycle assessment to the Sustainable Lifestyles Working Group. It drives progress in the consumer goods industry through multi-stakeholder collaboration, empowering it to make sustainability improvements at scale in global supply chains. Using a science-based approach, it works with corporates, civil society and government stakeholders to identify impact hotspots, improvement opportunities, and key performance indicators for different types of consumer products. TSC has working groups focusing on clothing, electronics, food and beverage, home and personal care, toys, general merchandise, packaging, and paper, pulp and forestry.

Collaborating Centre on Sustainable Consumption and Production (CSCP) – Formed in 2006 as a collaboration between UNEP and the Wuppertal Institute, CSCP has become a respected authority on sustainable consumption and production. The organization works with business and policy-makers to identify and highlight pathways towards more sustainable lifestyles. CSCP is part of our measurement team, working to analyze where consumption impacts are highest today, where consumption trends are heading in different geographies around the world, and where business should focus its efforts.

The Global Footprint Network – The Global Footprint network is most famous for its work on Earth Overshoot Day, the day on which humanity uses up all the natural resources and services that the planet can regenerate in 12 months and we move into deficit (in 2016 it was 8 August). The Global Footprint Network is able to establish this date through extensive research and the development of per capita, national and global ecological footprints. The Global Footprint Network was our main research partner on the Vision 2050 report and is a participant in our measurement work.
