Forética has presented the link between health and value proposition for companies in the ‘Business Forum: Health and Sustainable Development (ODS3)’, lead by the 25 companies part of the Health and Sustainability Action Group.

One of the main six trends that companies are facing in terms of health and sustainability is the management of pandemics, especially with COVID-19 crisis. Regarding the COVID-19 crisis, those companies with a greater presence of health and sustainability issues in their strategies and programs have shown greater resilience and better control of negative impacts.

“The COVID-19 crisis will represent a turning point on the relevance of health in the sustainability strategy of companies.  The most advanced companies in the management of environmental, social and good governance (ESG) aspects have been able to better face the crisis and adapt their work methods to be able to continue. Companies that understand and apply this approach of connection between health and business strategy will contribute to greater value creation; will improve engagement with their stakeholders; will maximize the impact generated in the environment in which it operates, and will obtain a greater economic return”, says Germán Granda, General Director at Forética.
