Durban Global Business Day is the fifth global business day organized by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) during the United Nations Climate Change Conference. This year we are partnering with the National Business Initiative (NBI).

Theme: The day will highlight global business commitment to low-carbon economic growth. It provides a meeting point for business to show leadership to meet the very real challenge of climate change and how they can work with governments on these mutual challenges.

A variety of activities will take place over the day, focussed on international aspects of the climate debate and the challenges for South Africa in responding to climate change in the afternoon.
