What is a news feed? News feeds, or RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds, deliver content directly to your computer. Instead of having to go to websites to see if they've written a new article or feature, you can use news feeds to stay up-to-date. The WBCSD offers such feeds for a variety of topics.
What do I need to do to use it?
Various browsers come with built-in news readers. In addition, there are a number of web-based services and specialized "News Readers" available. Please refer to the list on the right for a selection of appropriate options for your operating system.
You can also download the WBCSD ToolBar, which picks up news from three of our news feeds: Business & SD, Energy & Climate and WBCSD Update. It also contains a search feature that allows you to easily search the WBCSD website or perform Google searches, and short cuts to the most important sections on the WBCSD website.
How can I sign up to news feeds from WBCSD?
If you are using Internet Explorer 7 or Mozilla Firefox, simply click on any of the news feeds above and follow the instructions. If you choose to use an external software, please refer to the instructions that came with it.
