Our work program explores a wide range of issues, all crucial to achieving sustainable development.

Projects are multi-year activities with clear objectives and deliverables. Each Project group will have a minimum of 2 co-chairs and a Project Manager. There are two distinct types of projects:

Council Projects, which represent elements of one or more of the WBCSD programs. They are issues of broad relevance to the entire membership. They are based on the active involvement of member companies, chaired by Council members.

Sector Projects, which are supported by at least five or more members com­panies and are in areas in line with the WBCSD strategy. They are run by members with limited support from the Secretariat, and financed by the project participants.
