Powering sustainability: Yokogawa Electric joins WBCSD

Today, Yokogawa Electric Corporation joins almost 200 forward-thinking companies as the newest member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD)

Geneva, 18 May 2017: Throughout its over 100-year history, Yokogawa has contributed to society through its business activities. Today, Yokogawa and its global network of companies are striving to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

 Takashi Nishijima, Yokogawa’s CEO, stated, “We are honored to become a member of WBCSD and to work together with WBCSD to realize a sustainable society. Joining WBCSD is a step forward in these efforts. We take seriously our responsibility to address environmental issues and other challenges that the world faces today, and are eager to contribute toward the realization of a better world by using our knowledge and capabilities in collaboration with our fellow WBCSD members.”
