Leading Italian corporate sustainability organization joins WBCSD’s Global Network

Geneva,  9 June 2016 – The World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) is pleased to announce that CSR Manager Network, the leading Italian organization with the largest network of sustainability professionals, has joined its Global Network.

The Global Network is made up of more than 60 CEO-led business organizations worldwideunited by a shared commitment to provide business leadership for sustainable development in their respective countries and regions.

In Italy, CSR Manager Network plays a key role in driving business leadership on sustainable development. The organization has a long-standing track record in tackling sustainability issues, working in over 100 associated companies and with a broad range of stakeholders from business, government, academia, and the non-profit sector. 

According to Peter Bakker, President and CEO of the WBCSD, “We are delighted to welcome CSR Manager Network on board. Our new Italian partner will help to increase the impact of the WBCSD Global Network in our joint quest to accelerate the transition to a sustainable world.”

Ms Lallai is responsible for the management of the partnership with the Council and is Sustainability & External Relations Director at Costa Crociere. “Collaboration with the top international sustainability experts will allow us to examine key issues through the lens of a forward-looking global vision. Part of our commitment will be to capture the attention of Italian businesses and engage them on responsible innovation projects, which is fully in line with our goal of leveraging the business community’s sense of responsibility and concrete contribution to sustainable development.”
